Personnel may use University resources to publish club web sites. However, all club web sites must make clear in the context of their content and/or by appropriate disclaimers that they are not part of BYU-Hawaii's official web site. These pages should conform to all of the guidelines for network communications contained in this policy and should be within any resource limitations imposed by the party responsible for the University resources used. The University does not guarantee that such personal pages will be available outside the University (i.e., on the Internet).

Because the University does not officially sponsor non-academic clubs, such clubs interested in publishing a web page must coordinate requests through BYUHSA or seek the services of a commercial Internet service provider. Student chapters of professional academic associations must coordinate the publishing of a web page through the chapter's academic sponsor.
