University Webmasters Goals Include:
- Enhancing the University's presence on the Internet and broadening recognition for the University,
- Providing a valuable resource for the BYU-Hawaii community's efforts at disseminating information,
- Developing informative and engaging material that is presented in an attractive, consistent, professional manner,
- Reflecting the University's broader goals and objectives as articulated in the University's Mission Statement,
- Enabling all visitors to navigate the BYU-Hawaii websites easily and effectively by providing consistent navigation and logically defined content areas, with pages optimized for download speed and accessibility,
- Supporting the University's ongoing efforts at self improvement through the implementation of hardware/software solutions which allow non-experts to develop and maintain institutional webpages, and
- Working on improving communication among all those involved in the process of providing content to the institutional websites, encouraging a sharing of expertise and increase in the value of all University webpages.
